Seema Rizvi is a sustainability consultant specialising in responsible supply chains and due diligence. Her award-winning research on modern slavery and human rights due diligence in Canadian supply chains received the President’s Capstone Award for its innovative analysis.
Her career spans entrepreneurship, nonprofit governance, and consulting. As the founder of a Canadian-made ethical apparel brand, she gained firsthand experience embedding responsible sourcing and sustainable manufacturing practices. She has served on the board of the International Development and Relief Foundation (IDRF)
for over a decade, supporting social justice initiatives. Currently, as an independent consultant, she advises SMEs on their path to B Corp certification—conducting gap analyses and developing roadmaps to achieve certification—and serves as a Supply Chain Governance Advisor with Best in Governance (BIG), a boutique governance consulting firm.
