Kate A. Larsen is a leading expert in business human rights and ethical supply chains, with over 20 years of experience across industry, consulting, and NGOs. She has held senior roles in FTSE 100 and U.S. multinationals and spent over a decade living and working in China and Asia, gaining deep, practical insight into global supply chains. A fluent Chinese speaker, Kate specialises in labour rights, environmental compliance, and managing forced labour risks, particularly related to Uyghur labour in China.
Recognised as a UK Top 100 Modern Slavery Influencer, Kate previously served as Principal Consultant for Human Rights at ERM and is a faculty trainer for the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. She advises businesses on supply chain due diligence, modern slavery mitigation, and compliance with emerging legislation.
Kate has conducted investigative and stakeholder engagement work across China, Asia, Italy, and Africa, supporting clients in identifying and managing human rights risks. She has also contributed expertise to the UN PRI, Moody’s, Morgan Stanley, and publications including Vogue Business and Apparel Insider.
